Natural Crafts, Art & Food:

Creating Leaf Art - Thursday, March 25, 2010 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn to create beautiful artwork using leaves, seed pods, flowers and other natural materials.

Owen Mortensen, instructor for this class, was named one of American Style magazine's "Ten Emerging Artists" (June 2007). His pieces have won awards at several arts festivals and his work was featured in the TV show "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition" in his hometown of Logan, Utah. • Materials used in the process of creating leaf art
• How to select, collect, and press specimens
• Mounting, matting, and framing
