002Houston magazine editor Carla Valencia de Martinez and Claire Amonett, owner of Gone to the Dogs and the Cat Too, hosted the fashion show. Costume contest winners included: Lucy, as a Black-eyed Susan and Prada, complete with tiara. The event made the front page of the Houston Chronicle's Pet Section - April 11. The April Mutt Strut and Fashion Show included everything from formal fashions for the four-legged to more casual attire for just laying around the house. Susie Tritter, designer and owner of DOGUE Designs created all the outfits.
