 Weekend Tour Guides Weekend Tour Guides lead groups of visitors on walks at the Nature Center, acting as a facilitator, encouraging visitors to explore, discover, and interpret their findings while educating the public about the purpose and natural environs of the Nature Center and encouraging support for the Arboretum through contribution, membership or volunteerism. Weekend tours are offered every Saturday at 2 and 3 p.m. (weather permitting). Tours generally last 45 minutes and can include all ages. After attending training classes, volunteers follow experienced tour guides and staff to gain more experience before leading their first tour. Our Nature 101 classes offer volunteers a great way to learn more about the plants and animals of the Arboretum. Please note: Weekend Tour Guides must be at least 18 years of age.
